SCIN New Delhi enables learning of special needs children in poverty

Registered in 1981, SAMADHAN is an NGO with dual focus to help people with intellectual disability and being impacted by poverty in New Delhi. Service models have been developed to suit the characteristics of low socio-economic target communities, and today, provide community outreach for raising awareness on intellectual disability, advocacy in local mainstream schools, therapy, special education and early intervention.
In response to their request, SCIN New Delhi office installed a lift in the building to enable children with physical disabilities to have smooth access in the building.
Upon completion of the installation, SAMADHAN held an opening ceremony for the new lift on 28 September 2023 and it was attended by SCIN Chairman and Managing Director Mr Takuro Horikoshi and other members from SCIN.
