SCTL 100SEED –Power Up, preparing university students for working life

On 29 January 2024, SCTL organised a one-day exclusive online and onsite workshop for university students with the theme of “Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity (DE&I)” as part of the Power Up project. This is the fifth year of the project, which aims to assist students with the development of necessary skills and mindsets for the workplace while also fostering a deeper understanding of international companies and cultural nuances within the corporate environment.
Over 450 students from nationwide universities participated, with 403 students joining online sessions (including live broadcasting in university classrooms) and 53 students attending the onsite workshop. The students expressed gratitude for the invaluable opportunity and acknowledged SCTL’s dedication to their professional development. They highlighted the enriching experiences gained during the workshops, particularly the advice on selecting suitable workplaces and careers. The students also conveyed their deep appreciation for the chance to interact with SCTL staff, emphasising the positive impact of the workshop on their professional journey.
