SAPL participates in NewGen Power’s 15 Years in Operation Celebration

The NewGen Power Kwinana station, jointly owned by Foresight Group and Sumitomo Corporation, held a celebration for its 15 years in operation on 14 November 2023.
Situated 30km south of Perth, the NewGen Power Kwinana station stands as one of Western Australia’s most advanced and efficient intermediate load power stations, providing energy to the South West Interconnected System (SWIS) since 2008.
Leveraging low-emission technologies, the power station actively reduces greenhouse gas emissions and engages in best water efficiency practices through filtration and recycling systems. The combined cycle, gas-fired power station provides highly-efficient, reliable, and environmentally sound electricity at the lowest cost for Western Australia.
Representing Sumitomo Corporation Group, SAPL Office GM Mr Yoshikazu Ishikawa attended this milestone celebration event.
