On 11 November 2023, a ceremony was held at the North Hanoi Smart City project site to celebrate the “Start of the Project” following the approval of the 1/500 master plan in July 2023. SCVN invited many VIPs to attend the ceremony, including Ambassador of Japan, Mr Takio Yamada and others from Japan, Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly, Mr Nguyen Duc Hai from Vietnam, Madam Nga from BRG and the partners of the project including Japanese banks, Vietnamese local banks, and electric and telecommunication companies related to the town management services.

The ceremony was a great success, with a celebration of the start of the project and a performance by construction equipment.

The project is planned to be developed in phases with the aim of opening the city in 2025, and now we are in the middle of the process of acquiring the land use right of all phases. SC will continue to develop the smart city to satisfy the needs of people in Hanoi, Vietnam.
