Enhancing Education and Fostering Happiness for Thai Students

SCTL aims to enhance teachers’ skills and students’ learning through the Light Up project. On 25-27 October 2023, e-PBL (Enhanced Project-Based Learning) pedagogy training was conducted for 53 teachers of 4th-6th graders from medium sized schools in Ang Thong province, benefiting 3,129 students. Following this, Professional Learning Communities (PLC) programmes were held on 19-20 December 2023, and 8 March 2024, allowing teachers to share practical experiences and receive feedback on e-PBL implementation.

Under the Button Up Project, SCTL organised half-day learning activities on 27 and 29 February 2024, with 179 students from Wat Tha Chum Num School and Wat Kham Yard School participating. Teachers from these schools also participated in e-PBL training under Light Up project. SCTL also provided necessary school infrastructure, such as new computers, lavatory repairs, a cold-water dispenser, and sports equipment. Students enthusiastically participated in activities and expressed gratitude for the improved educational environment and their commitment to using their new knowledge to enrich their lives.
