The recent flooding in Thailand’s northern region has been the worst in 10 years, with severe water levels causing widespread damage. This year’s flood was triggered by seasonal rainfall starting in August and worsened by Typhoon Yagi, which brought heavy rain to Myanmar. The excess water and mud flowed into the river systems, overwhelming drainage capacity and resulting in more severe flooding and damage than in other years.

As part of our ongoing commitment to social responsibility, SCTL provided monetary support by donating THB 100,000 to The Thai Chamber of Commerce Foundation on 8 October 2024, to assist those affected by the recent flooding in Thailand, particularly in the Northern region, where the damage has been especially devastating.

Our contribution aims at providing critical relief and assistance to those impacted by this natural disaster. This donation reflects our broader commitment to helping those in need during challenging times. We hope that this contribution will help ease the impact of the disaster and support affected communities in returning to normal life as quickly as possible.
