In a vibrant park filled with laughter and hope, SSRI gathered its employees for the annual “Walk for Autism”. This event, organised by JCI East Java, aims to raise awareness about autism and to support individuals with autism and their families in Indonesia. Banners fluttered in the gentle breeze, each emblazoned with messages of support and understanding.

As the event kicked off, families and friends joined hands, forming a colourful sea of participants. Together, they walked through the park, sharing stories and raising awareness about autism.

Throughout the day, there were activities for children, informative booths, and heartfelt speeches from advocates. The atmosphere was filled with joy and camaraderie as everyone came together for a common cause.

At the finishing line, employees reflected on the day’s impact, realising their small steps contributed to a much larger movement. SSRI not only walked for autism; they walked for understanding, acceptance, and a brighter future for all individuals on the spectrum.

Additionally, we proudly showcased our Ehon Project, which captivated the attention and admiration of visitors. Many were drawn to the beautiful stories and illustrations, sparking conversations about the project’s significance in promoting literacy among Indonesian children.
