Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Two years ago, I started Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) after being inspired watching martial arts content. The grappling aspect, without striking, feels approachable yet challenging due to its depth.
Initially, the physical pressure of being pinned or choked is intense. But through patience and practice, I have learned to stay calm, escape, and overcome challenges. This perseverance has greatly influenced my work and personal life, teaching me to handle difficulties with confidence and adaptability.
One of the most rewarding aspects of BJJ is the diverse environment. I train alongside people of various genders, ages, nationalities, and identities, all united by a shared passion for growth. This experience has helped broadened my perspective, removing barriers and building a strong sense of community.
I highly recommend BJJ to anyone looking for life changing sport.
