SC’s subsidiary – Thang Long Industrial Park II Corporation (TLIP2), had the honour of receiving Vietnamese Prime Minister Mr Pham Minh Chinh on 7 July 2024.

Ambassador of Japan in Vietnam, Mr Naoki Ito came to TLIP2 to receive the VIP with us. At that time, Mr Ito introduced SCVN Office GM Mr Eita Fujikawa and TLIP2 General Director Mr Kenta Kawanabe to the Prime Minister as the developer of TLIP2.

Prime Minister Chinh toured TLIP2, currently the largest and most modern industrial park of Hung Yen Province. It spans over 525 hectares and hosts more than 100 operating firms with a total registered capital exceeding USD 3.2 billion, mostly from Japanese investors.

During this trip, he visited Mektec Manufacturing Corporation Vietnam Ltd., one of the tenant companies of TLIP2. Mektec introduced its products to the Prime Minister and showed him around the factory. Although the time of his stay was short, the Prime Minister actively communicated with the employees and spoke highly of Hung Yen and the investors for developing the park in a multi-industry direction, focusing on attracting high-tech industry projects.
