Pakistan - A mixture of goat’s internal organs

Pakistan is a country where people love their food and dining out is their favourite hobby. Traditional food and Pakistani cuisines are bombarded with flavours. There are many strange food in Pakistan that are equally delicious and rich in flavours.

One of such special dishes is Kata Kat. Kata Kat is prepared using the internal organs of goat. Kidney, liver, heart, lungs and brain are the parts used for making this dish. Meat is combined with various spices such as coriander, ginger, mint, chilies, and masala, along with tomatoes, garlic, and onions. All the ingredients are put together and cooked on the griddle while being mixed and cut with sharp blades at the same time. The name of this dish comes from the hitting sound of those sharp blades on the griddle.

From the griddle to the plate!
