SCTL holds its first Annual Strategy Forum to enhance communications in achieving the strategic goal of SHIFT 2023

In accordance with the New Medium-Term Management Plan implemented by SC headquarter, SCTL is making its way to achieving the strategic goal of SHIFT 2023. SCTL truly believes that “Communication is the Key” and “Effective business communication is essential for the success and growth of every organisation”. Thus, the “Annual Strategy Forum” has been launched as the first local communication session aims to set the staff to move forward to the same direction and achieve the goal together.

On 21 June 2022, the “Annual Strategy Forum”, a hybrid half-day internal communication session was successfully conducted with more than 200 SCTL’s staff joined onsite at office and online.

Each Business Division presented its SBU/SCAO strategy framework towards SHIFT 2023, regional and local strategy focus of each division, and updates on new initiative project, including clear message on how other departments could collaborate. This was followed by the presentation from Business Development Department, which encouraged the utilisation of Business Development Promotion funds.

The Corporate Divisions represented their strategy plans as “One CU” which illustrated clear action plans of this fiscal year to support BUs and company strategies. Lastly, Division GMs’ key messages and the open panel discussion from all Division GMs marked the closure of this event.

SCTL believes that this strategy communication activity could enhance staff’s understanding on company’s strategy and direction. In addition, SCTL strongly believes that this activity would be a great compass to lead staff to the right path of “enriching lives and the world”.
