In line with SC’s direction, 100SEED activities in SSRI focuses on the education, especially in supporting students’ education. One of them is to help university students to be ready, to transit to working life.

We were lucky to be able to conduct the seminar in hybrid mode (offline and online). This seminar was our 2nd collaboration with Dharma Persada university. This university is managed under Indonesia Japan Friendship Association (PPIJ).

Most participants came from Dharma Persada university, and from other universities as well. In total, there were 258 offline participants and 315 online participants. We were delighted that a lot of students were interested and joined the event. We can see their enthusiasm through the many questions they posed.

These were the 2 main topics covered during the seminar:

• An overview on Japanese company business landscape in Indonesia
  Mr Surya Rahman, SSRI Vice President Director shared about Japanese company business in Indonesia and the future potential investment and collaborations in Indonesia. He also gave an overview about Sumitomo Indonesia’s business in Indonesia and the experience working in the company.
• Career Resilience
  A talk show by our 3 young talents from SSRI. They shared about the tips in applying the job, how to survive as new employee and how to develop career in the company with confident.

We hope that through our sharing, the attendees can boost their knowledge and get ready to start their career upon graduation.
