We have been supplying SC’s subsidiary company – Union Harvest (M) Sdn Bhd (UHM)’s compound fertilisers to Mong Reththy Investment Cambodia Oil Palm (MRICOP) since 2018. MRICOP is the largest oil palm plantation in Cambodia, and their total fertilisers usage were 17,000 MT of NPK Fertilisers and 4,000-5,000MT of Trace Elements including Boron and Kieserite per year.

On 1 December 2022, SCAO Phnom Penh, together with UHM, visited MRICOP to discuss about their fertilisers purchasing plan for year 2023. During the meeting, UHM shared about the fertilisers market situation including global price trend, supply availability and disruption, sanction and export restriction and so forth. It was a fruitful meeting. MRICOP really appreciated and was satisfied with our information, and requested for our quotation for compound NPK fertilisers, Kieserite and Boron from UHM in order to propose the purchase to their Board of Directors (BoD).

In early December 2022, we submitted UHM’s quotation to MRICOP and received an order of 250MT of Boron (approximately USD 243,250) in February 2023. UHM is now in the process of arranging the shipment of Boron to MRICOP.
