With the vision to offer Japanese supermarket quality to the people in Vietnam, Retail SBU entered the Vietnamese market in 2018 to open the FujiMart supermarkets with strategic partner BRG Group. Leveraging Japanese expertise in freshness control and customer service, FujiMart seeks to become an integral part of the local infrastructure, allowing consumers to enjoy peace of mind in purchasing safe perishables and other daily food products.

By end of 2023, FujiMart expanded by 11 stores (acquiring 7 BRG Marts). We opened the total 7 stores (consisting of 4 new ones and 3 renovated ones) in the first half of 2024:

January: Tran Phu Ha Dong (New)

March: Thuy Khue (New)

April: Nguyen Co Thach (Renovated), To Huu (Renovated), Lac Long Quan (New)

May: Chinh Kinh (New)

June: Giang Vo (Renovated)

By June 2024, the total number of its stores reached, with ongoing conversions of BRG Marts and renovations to enhance its store network and establish a solid revenue base quickly.

The 89 Lac Long Quan store, spanning 2 floors in a BRG-partly owned office building situated on Lac Long Quan Street, northwest of central Hanoi has exceeded expectations on its performance due to its prime location with high visibility and traffic volume.
