New Normal Life

COVID-19 came unexpectedly and changed our lifestyle, giving us no time to plan.

The initial crisis or lockdown period was unstable or uncertain as everything was new and people were fearful of the virus. However, we could not escape from it and so we had to face it. During the lockdown while I worked from home, my baby girl who is a Primary-1 student attended home-based learning. With so many changes and challenges approaching, we had to adopt a new lifestyle.

I started to think of positive ways on how to face the effect of COVID-19 and benefit from it. I began changing my lifestyle to the new normal. Because of working from home (WFH), I could wake up early to do my exercise (morning walk near my house), help my girl with her studies via the school home-based learning system, and do my daily work without absence or taking leave.  Even in the evening after working hour, without the long commuting and stuck in the traffic congestion, I had the time to jog and cycle at the park with my family.
