SAPL Annual Away Day

The annual SAPL Away Day was held on 20 – 21 February in Sydney, bringing together executives, employees, and leaders from SAPL group companies.

 

Day 1 is devoted to DE&I activities, with a focus on Business Process Mapping (BPM), which is nearing completion, thanks to strong cross-departmental collaboration. Team members are undergoing process owners training to lead ongoing improvements. We also held a Critical and Creative Thinking workshop to identify improvements and opportunities through constructive conflict and challenging the status quo. The day concluded with team-building activities to foster reflection, creativity, collaboration, and networking drinks.

 

Day 2 included company updates from the CFO and COO, as well as presentations from each group company on growth challenges. We also welcomed executives from Mirvac, our Highforest partner, who shared insights into their journey and our collaboration. A key highlight was the SAPL Business Award, presented to Mr Matsuo for his outstanding contribution to the Highforest project.
