On 30 May, to promote Quality Education under the 100SEED project, a team of six energetic employees from SAPL Sydney Office participated in “The Amazing Race” organised by Barnardos Australia Children’s Charity.

This event was the ultimate fun, competitive employee engagement experience offering team building, problem solving and networking with all the proceeds contributed to supporting vulnerable children and their families.

Teams had to rely on problem-solving skills, teamwork, creativity, physical tasks, and navigation abilities to complete each challenge successfully in order to progress to the next one. The race was on foot, covered 3 – 5 kms of total walking distance (approximately 2 hours), before concluding at a secret location where participants were able to network with other Corporates in a social setting.

As the race was held during Reconciliation Week, all funds raised from team registrations went directly to Aboriginal Learning Centres and support services.
