SCAO Dhaka 100SEED – Donations and Virtual Classes for Underprivileged Children

Education is the basic right of human, but unfortunately, in Bangladesh a large number of children cannot attend school or drop out of school due to poverty. As part of our contribution to the Society, SCAO Dhaka office has collaborated with an NGO called “Ekmattra Society” under our 100SEED project. Ekmattra Foundation is a renowned NGO which started back by the campaign of open sky school. They have an academy which provides all the basic needs of unprivileged children as well as taking care of them like a family.
We have donated some educational materials and IT equipment to those children residing in the premises of this academy. Apart from that, some of our Dhaka office members are voluntarily conducting one-day weekly online classes for the children who are staying at this academy. It is making a strong bond and interconnectivity with these unprivileged children. Certainly, it is a wonderful experience as well as small contribution to society.
