SCIN Chennai is exploring  business opportunity in the export of forged and machined common rail component and injector parts to Denso Japan (DNJP) and Denso Thailand (forging and machining will be done by Sansera Engineering, Bangalore). At the present, we are focusing on common rail.

Currently, we are discussing supplying common rail sample for John Deer and Ashok Leyland. The sample is now being produced under Denso’s virtual supervision and will be dispatched to DNJP.  Mass production for initial five models will commence once DNJP approves the sample.

Production schedule is estimated to be around October 2022 to March 2023.

Diesel Common Rail Direct Injection System (CRDI)
Common rail is a fuel injection system found in modern diesel engines. Common rail systems provide a level of flexibility, which can be exploited for class leading emission control, power and fuel consumption. This enables Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to design for optimum performance and exceptional end-user value across a range of machines and applications.

Common Rail Fuel Injection Pump
The common rail type pump has been developed to meet strict exhaust gas regulations in the 21^st century.  This system consists of supply pump, common rail, electronically controlled injectors, various sensors to detect the running condition of the engine and a computer (ECU) to control these devices. This component is driven by the engine and produces high-pressure fuel. An injector is mounted on each cylinder of the engine and the high-pressure fuel from the supply pump is distributed to each injector by the common rail.
