SCTL 100SEED Activities: Fostering Happiness, and Readiness in Thailand's Education System

In February-March 2023, SCTL organised 4 activities under 3 sub-projects, Button-Up, Power-Up, and Light-Up, focusing on improving education in Thailand.
For Power-Up project, on 7 February, we held the workshop at the SCTL office, where our management and representatives from BU and CU shared their valuable experiences on the topic of “Career Booster” with 44 university students. This workshop equipped them with the skills needed for a successful transition into the working world.

Light-Up Project
For Light-Up project, on 8 February, we arranged a conference that engaged 32 teachers to reflect on our 3-year support through the Teacher Development Programme, which will improve education for at least 2,340 students in Ang Thong province.

Button-Up Project
Button-Up project was held on 9 February and 20 March at Wat Soeng Wai and Wat Rung respectively. Alongside with upgrading and providing the necessary schools’ facilities (such as renovating the toilets, changing water filter in the water dispenser, installation of mosquito screen in the classroom, donation of sports equipment, school supplies and computers etc.), we engaged in active learning activities with the students, fostering a strong bond between our staff and the young learners.
