SCTL 100SEED – Light Up Empowers Teachers to Enhance Students’ Learning

The 3 projects (Button Up, Power Up and Light Up) under SCTL’s 100SEED CSR programme aim to develop education from upstream to downstream in Ang-thong, one of the central provinces of Thailand.
In collaboration with Kenan Foundation Asia, Light Up has launched 2 activities in October through November 2022. The purpose was to improve the teachers’ teaching capabilities in enhancing students’ learning. This is the 3rd year that SCTL has been supporting teachers in Ang-Thong province, working towards improving Thai education and creating a brighter future for the children and community.
On 26-28 October 2022, SCTL arranged a Professional Development Training. Teachers from 32 extended schools participated in an on-site Active Math training (System of Equation module).
On 17-18 November 2022, SCTL also arranged a Professional Learning Communities (PLC) programme. PLC sessions were held for teachers to share their practical experiences and receive feedback for evaluating the effectiveness of Active Math implementation in classroom.
