SCTL 100SEED – Button Up, Nurturing Students’ Physical and Mental Health for the New Normal

On 9 and 11 March, we conducted some Button Up activities (a sub-project of 100SEED) for students of 2 schools in Angthong province.

Even amid the Covid-19 pandemic, we successfully provided basic-needs facilities to help improve the environment of schools and conducted a half-day activity-based learning programme to improve their life skills conforming to the new normal.

Although our staff’s physical participation in activities was limited due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there was no stopping them from expressing their love and care to the students. Our staff wrote and sent encouraging messages to all students via cards that were attached with small souvenirs, to brighten the students’ day. In return, the students expressed their gratitude by writing thank you cards to us. Those appreciation cards were brought back and hung onto a “Gratitude Tree” which is being displayed at SCTL office.

SCTL/STIL Donates Office Automation & IT Equipment to Phradabos Foundation

SCTL/STIL donated office automation and IT equipment to Phradabos Foundation, a charity organisation which has been initiated by H.M. the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej (King Rama 9) and is well-known and reliable in Thailand. The Foundation provides vocational training with morals and ethics to the disadvantaged people in order to create a self-reliant and be a good member of the society.

Their missions and activities aim to help people who lack opportunities (the underprivileged, handicapped, etc.). Our donation would support the Foundation’s related missions and activities for sustainable development of society.
