SCTL successfully hosted its third Annual Strategy Forum and Happy Hour on 28 June 2024. The forum aimed to enhance company-wide communication and collaboration, aligning over 200 staff members on new strategic directions under the medium-term management plan 2026, themed “No. 1 in each field”. The event began with a key message from SCTL President Mr Kozo To, outlining core strategies and the SHIFT2023 results, followed by presentations from eight corporate and business divisions. These presentations emphasised strategic frameworks and collaboration between SCTL and SC Group, with Division GMs highlighting management’s role in driving strategy and ensuring successful implementation.

An interactive Q&A session concluded the forum, encouraging active participation and emphasising transparency and open communication. This engagement ensured that every team member was aligned with the strategic vision. The forum’s materials, including a video recording and presentations, were shared with all staff post-event.

Following the forum, a Happy Hour event was held to foster a positive working atmosphere and strengthen inter-departmental relationships. Over 150 employees participated, enjoying a relaxed setting that encouraged casual communication and idea-sharing. The event was a resounding success, promoting a sense of community and contributing to a more cohesive and motivated workforce, setting the stage for continued collaboration and innovation.
