The Award-Winning Scheme at SCTL is designed to recognise and celebrate staff members who make significant contributions to our business activities or transactions. Established in 2006, this scheme highlights outstanding performance and effective teamwork. Each December, we will announce the Award-Winning teams based on a set of selection criteria aimed at encouraging excellence and dedication.

 

For fiscal year 2024, 3 teams were honoured with this prestigious award for their exceptional performance. The details of their business contributions and the reasons for their recognition are as follows:

 

Team 1

 

Business Name	:	Bulk Business of Sulphuric Acid and Aluminum Hydroxide
Department	:	Inorganic & Performance Chemicals Dept (Chemical, Electronics and Agri Business Division)
Reason	:	1) Sulphuric Acid:  Develop and utilise storage tanks to supply domestic customers and export to LXML in Laos.   2) Aluminum Hydroxide, Develop a new logistic distribution from FCL shipment to break bulk shipment which could be able to propose a competitive price to customers.

 

Team 2

 

Business Name	:	Supply of NSC’s rail for SRT’s Double Track Project
Department	:	Steel Products Dept. No. 2 (Metal Division)
Reason	:	Supply Nippon Steel (NSC) rails for domestic development projects in railway business in Thailand for State Railway of Thailand (SRT) track doubling project in Northen part of Thailand.

 

Team 3

 

Business Name	:	LNG Trading Business
Department	:	Business Development Department (Business Development Division)
Reason	:	In partnership with B.Grimm, delivered Thailand’s first LNG cargo under the liberalized market. This milestone supports Thailand’s energy security and diversifies LNG sources.
