SCTL recently hosted two internal events, the Annual Strategy Forum and Innovative Talk 2023. These events enhanced communication and unity among our staff, guiding us toward our corporate and global objectives and enabling us to gain a deeper understanding of sustainability and carbon neutrality.

The Annual Strategy Forum, focused on “SC Group Integrated Strength and Strategy towards Sustainability and Carbon Neutrality”, was held on 21 June 2023. The event emphasised collaboration between SCTL and SC Group Companies, with our 5 Business Divisions presented their strategic frameworks toward sustainability, i.e., energy transition, carbon neutrality, Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) strategy, among others. Corporate Division and Business Development also outlined their strategy plans on providing support to Business Units and SC Group Companies such as operation reform through DX, strengthening of cross-organisational efforts, enhancement of governance and others. This event not only highlighted key messages from each division, but also included a Q&A session with SCTL management to promote engagement and clarity among SCTL staff.

Following this, SCTL in partnership with The Sasin Sustainability & Entrepreneurship Center (SasinSEC),  successfully organised Innovative Talk 2023 on 14 September 2023. A dynamic event set under the theme of “Sustain-Able Symposium: Cultivating a Greener Future” was delivered by three external speakers who are the experts in sustainability field. The keynote presentations dived into sustainability’s global significance, Thailand’s commitment to sustainability, and the challenges of carbon neutrality as well as the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). The event was successfully wrapped up with an interactive Q&A between the three guest speakers and our staff.
