Opening of Spring Softball League in Jakarta

Spring Softball League is opened from 7 May 2023. In Indonesia, companies that are members of the Jakarta Japan Club (Japanese association in Jakarta) and have a softball team come together to organise a softball league twice a year, in the Spring and Autumn, each lasting about a month.
This league has 4 divisions from the first to the fourth and has been held for more than 20 years. It is the Japanese legendary league in Jakarta, and an important occasion for exchanging information among the Japanese people living in Jakarta.
In the last Autumn league, Team Sumitomo won the 1st prize in Division 1. It was a great team (I hadn’t started working in Indonesia yet at that time). In this upcoming Spring league, we will be playing as defending champion and are aiming for 2 consecutive victories.
