Sumitomo Corporation Malaysia (SCMY) exports Certio Red Super Palm Olein in bulk liquid, which is loaded into ISO tank, for SC Foods Co. Ltd. from Port Klang, Malaysia to Tokyo, Japan. Total average monthly volume is 40 – 60 metric tons. We have been trading in this ongoing business for more than 20 years.

Red Palm Olein is a great source of carotenoids and vitamin E, which act as antioxidants to help prevent cell damage. Getting enough vitamin E also helps your cells communicate and keeps your immune system in good condition.

Very often we faced delay in vessel arrival at Port Klang for loading ISO tank cargo onto the container vessel ship. This has caused us lots of additional work as well as inconvenience to our customer in Japan. Therefore, close monitoring and feedback to SC Foods Co. Ltd. Tokyo on a regular basis as well as update of information on any changes in delay of vessel, are necessary.

Currently SC Foods Co. Ltd., Japan owns a total of 12 units of ISO tanks for the main purpose of loading Certio Red Super Palm Olein in bulk liquid from Port Klang, Malaysia to Tokyo, Japan with average export movement volume 1 unit per tank (20 metric tons) per week.

There is a potential new business opportunity in exporting Medium-Chain Triglycerides Oils (MCT Oils) to SC Foods Co. Ltd., Japan. MCT is a type of fat found in oils, such as coconut oil and palm kernel oil. MCT oils are said to boast numerous health benefits and easy to be broken down and absorbed in the body.
