You can still get married but with masks ON

Starting our lives together as one…
Who would have thought it happened the way it did? I guess everyone somehow or rather would have such thoughts or experiences during COVID-19 or this year.
I married my girlfriend on 5 June 2020, 3 days after Singapore ended the Circuit Breaker (a stay-at-home order implemented as a preventive measure by the Government of Singapore in response to the COVID-19 pandemic in the country on 7 April 2020.) We had our apartment mates as witnesses and my two sisters to share the joy. No one else could attend our small signing ceremony due to social distancing rules in Singapore. No wedding rings, tea reception nor dinner. Just us.
Planning a marriage is tough in today’s social media age. In retrospect, COVID-19 showed us that marriage could just be that simple and sweet! In a new normal, just put on the mask and march on. ☺
